Thank You, Higgy

You have afforded me a very great honor in entrusting the running of Operation Black Flag to me. I shall endeavor to see that the respect and integrity remain intact, that it continues to grow and developes to it's full potential. I welcome the opportunity to aid in this extremely important cause and to show my esteem for those that have served us all so bravely and given so very dearly of themselves.
To those that will and have served in the armed forces of this great country of ours, I offer my thanks. It is a small enough reward for all that you have or may yet give to ensure the freedoms that we all enjoy today. We owe our veterans a debt that can never be fully repaid.
But there are others that are owed even more for the sacrifices that they have made in the name of peace, freedom and country. These brave heroes have not been forgotten and never will be by those that love them and care about them. Nor will I forget. I am among the fortunate that know where my loved ones are, that know closure of the nightmare. But for many there can be none until the political game playing stops and answers are found.
To be called to serve ones country is an honor that not everyone receives. To be abandoned by that very same country is not only immoral but criminal. And for that act to be disguised with political games and meneuvers is a national disgrace that we all must accept responsibility for allowing to happen. I will no longer accept this situation. Answers are owed to so many about where these missing heroes are and have been for over a quarter of a century. Time is long past for diplomacy and political tact. It is now time to bring home our American service men and women and give them the honor and respect accorded to warriors returning from battle.
In hosting Operation Black Flag, I hope to be able to have some small part in spreading awareness of the need for all of us to stand up and be counted, to raise our voices and be heard. A single voice may not be heard, but the voices of many can not be ignored. It is time to stop being ignored and start demanding that answers are found and an end brought to this travisty.
