To join this worthwhile program, you need is a page on your web site that is dedicated to the POW / MIA issue. Then, create a Free banner swap account to help bring in attention to your page. You can either set up an account and list your POW/MIA page as the home address (even if your site already has a banner swapping account) or, create a separate page for this project and then direct your viewers to the POW/MIA issue as we have done. 

We have taken care of your graphic needs for this project ( thanks to some very talented web artists ) and offer the POW / MIA graphics on this page absolutely FREE for this purpose. The banners have been formatted to suit size and byte requirements for several of the banner swapping companies listed below. All you have to do is pick one. A membership or an account with the Banner Swapping Companies that we've listed on this page is also FREE. You may also use your own POW/MIA banner or request help in making a custom one. Many of the programs also accept animated banners as well. If you want an animated one, I can see what I can do to help with it.

What it all boils down to, is placing a banner ad on the top or the bottom of your MIA page. Commercialism? You bet. However, keep in mind that each time someone clicks on your POW/MIA page, they are helping you spread the word all over the world when your banner is placed on another web site somewhere on the entire World Wide Web. How's that for getting the word out?

There has been some concern with regards to the type of ads that appear in the exchange programs. Most of the banner programs allow YOU control over the type of site you show your banner on as well as the type that you show banners for. Check out the information for the program you select. If you are not sure, I will help in any way I can.

We have listed a few of the FREE banner swapping companies here for you. The FREE banners that we have created are formatted to suit the requirements of most all of these swapping programs. After you have set up an account with one of the following swapping programs, come back to this page to choose your banner. Remember to double-check the sizes of the free banners and match them with the swapping program's requirements. You may create and use your own banner if you choose to.

Also remember to list your MIA page as the home address for this account and place the banner swapping program's HTML code on that same page. Title your MIA page as a stand-alone site, if you wish. This affords you the opportunity to advertise the rest of your site separately from your MIA page and actually double the ads that bring others to your site. • 6. Direct viewers to your new MIA page from various other places on your website, especially your home page.
